A Leading Online Lead Generation Firm Appoints New Chief Executive

A major force in the online lead generation sector, Catena Media, has named Per Hellberg as its new Chief Executive Officer. Hellberg takes over from Henrik Persson Ekdahl, who assumed the interim CEO position in October 2017 after Robert Andersson’s exit. Ekdahl will return to his position on the Catena Media board in September.

Hellberg brings a wealth of expertise to Catena Media, having previously held the CEO position at Nordic Gaming Group Ltd, where he oversaw its sale to Betsson AB. His impressive background also includes leadership positions such as CEO of Readly International AB and marketing director at Sony.

“We are delighted to welcome Per to Catena Media,” remarked Kathryn Moore Baker, chairman of the board. “His vast experience in managing rapidly growing international teams and his strong digital expertise make him the perfect fit. Per possesses a proven history of driving expansion in dynamic markets.”

Catena Media’s latest financial report showcased the company’s outstanding performance, with revenue hitting €20.1 million, marking a 63% year-over-year surge and a 16% quarter-over-quarter increase.

“Catena Media is an exceptional company with a compelling past, an impressive growth path, and enormous potential,” stated Hellberg, expressing his excitement about joining the firm.

My enthusiasm knows no bounds as I become part of an organization with such a well-defined roadmap for tomorrow, and I’m eager to play a role in their continuing narrative of achievement. The last ten years, spent contributing to this endeavor, have been an honor, and I’m filled with anticipation for what lies ahead as I assist Catena Media in realizing its bold aspirations.”
