Codere Online has designated seasoned industry leader Michal Elimelech to its governing body. Elimelech contributes more than a decade and a half of expertise within the gaming industry, having occupied numerous critical executive roles at 888 Holdings.

Her placement, succeeding Oscar Iglesias’s choice to depart, received ratification at Codere Online’s latest yearly shareholder assembly. Elimelech joins the quartet of directors nominated by Codere Newco S.A.

Patrick Ramsey, presiding officer of the board, conveyed appreciation to the stakeholders for their ongoing backing and emphasized Elimelech’s remarkable history of accomplishments within the field. Throughout her tenure at 888, she held multiple VP designations, encompassing Head of US Promotion, Head of Bingo, and Managing Director of regulated European territories like the UK, Germany, and the Scandinavian region.

In recent times, Elimelech functioned as the principal marketing executive at the mobile gaming enterprise Space Ape Games and as the chief operating executive at Passiflora.

“We are delighted to integrate Michal into our Board,” Ramsey appended.

Her mastery of online promotion and penetrating emerging sectors meshes seamlessly with Codere Online’s aspirations in Spain and Latin America.”

The gathering also witnessed additional board rearrangements. The Compliance Committee, formerly an advisory group, is now a complete board committee. There’s a fresh head of the Audit Committee as well: Borja Fernández, who was previously a non-voting spectator, assumes control from Dr. Martin M. Werner, who will remain as a committee participant.
