Catena Media has substantially reinforced its presence in North America by strategically purchasing i15 Media’s holdings in a transaction valued at $45 million. This action aligns seamlessly with Catena Media’s objective of solidifying its standing as a dominant global contender in the iGaming lead generation sector.

i15 Media possesses an outstanding collection of more than 100 websites and domain names. A significant number of these websites are tactically centered around states entering their inaugural complete season of legalized sports wagering, such as Michigan, featuring sites like Michigansharp.com. Others target states nearing legalization, like New York, with platforms like NYSportsDay.com. This acquisition also encompasses nationally acclaimed brands like bonus.com and gamblingonline.com.

“This procurement considerably amplifies our North American portfolio and expedites our already remarkable growth trajectory,” stated Michael Daly, Chief Executive Officer of Catena Media. “i15’s robust national and regional brands, combined with their penetration into soon-to-be-operational states, further solidifies Catena Media’s dominance in the US market.”

The acquisition is projected to have an instantaneous favorable effect on Catena Media’s revenue. The acquired resources are anticipated to possess an average EBITDA margin of no less than 70%.

Daly continued, “I am also delighted that the originators and proprietors of i15 Media will remain as consultants. Their proficiency will be indispensable as we persist in pursuing our strategic aims.”

The complete purchase amount encompasses $12 million…

At the conclusion of the agreement, a substantial $5 million in immediate funds will be transferred, with the balance of $20 million disbursed in three payments.

To address the final $12.5 million, Catena Media is undertaking a calculated measure by distributing 2,207,357 fresh shares – an operation they intend to finalize swiftly upon the transaction’s completion.

This development follows Catena’s recent acquisition spree: securing Lineups.com for $3.96 million in May and formalizing a new 10-year arrangement with SportsDataIO in August to bolster their lead generation efforts.
