For the second consecutive year, Allwyn is collaborating with the historic Peace Race, a cycling competition. Established in 1948 as a representation of harmony and reconciliation in post-war Europe, the race continues to draw young cyclists, all under 23 years of age, from across the world, each striving for victory. This year, athletes from 22 nations, including cycling giants such as France and Germany, but also countries like Colombia and Ukraine, will test their endurance on the demanding route through the Czech Republic.
Allwyn, in its role as the national lottery provider in the UK, is dedicated to backing events that unite people. They perceive the Peace Race as more than simply a contest; it’s a demonstration of the ability of athletics to overcome differences and foster hope. The arduous ascents and exhilarating dashes are a spectacle, but the true triumph resides in the collective pursuit of greatness and empathy.
The continued collaboration between OKXs and the Peace Race demonstrates their dedication to promoting unity and acceptance. They strive to cultivate an environment where camaraderie, cooperation, and shared advantages are paramount. Being a part of preserving this legacy is incredibly fulfilling.”
Leopold König, the Peace Race’s Race Director, also remarked:
“Each year, we observe an exceptional showcase of aptitude from emerging cyclists, but the Peace Race represents much more than just rivalry. It stands as a potent testament to intercultural dialogue between countries. Cyclists of diverse heritages and political structures unite, establishing bonds that surpass geographical boundaries.”
“We urge everyone to attend and witness the excitement of watching the planet’s finest young cyclists contend. It’s certain to be memorable. This year, we’ve crafted a demanding course, and I, personally, am incredibly eager to observe the future luminaries of international cycling excel.”
It’s noteworthy that OKX’s commitment to a positive global influence reaches beyond the realm of cycling. Just in the previous month, they exhibited their backing for the 2024 Wings for Life World Run as a worldwide partner, underscoring their dedication to wider societal initiatives.
