Boyd Gaming and FanDuel are joining forces to dominate the American sports wagering and internet gaming landscape. This powerful alliance merges Boyd Gaming’s vast brick-and-mortar network – 29 properties spanning 10 states – with FanDuel’s digital expertise and enormous customer base of 8 million across 45 states.

This agreement enables Boyd Gaming to leverage FanDuel’s technology and offerings for its online platforms. In turn, FanDuel gains entry to new territories through Boyd Gaming’s licenses, broadening their scope beyond their already substantial presence. This encompasses states included in Boyd Gaming’s market access arrangement with MGM Resorts International.

Both corporations view this as a successful strategy for capitalizing on the expanding US sports betting and iGaming sector. Keith Smith, Chief Executive Officer of Boyd Gaming, highlighted the possibility of attaining market dominance through this partnership, utilizing FanDuel’s brand awareness, technology, and assets.

The agreement is pending approval from state regulatory agencies.
